Brown Trout stocking in the Grand River, Ontario and the Conestogo River, Ontario tail waters is set to continue once again this year. 23,000 browns will be stocked in the Grand river alone.

Grand River Brown Trout Stocking Dates

Grand River:
May 11 and 12 – Meet at the Zehrs Parking Lot in Fergus at 10:30am; 23,000 browns

Conestogo River Brown Trout Stocking Dates

Conestogo River:
May 13 and 14 – The Connie stocking will meet at 10 Am at the Macton site.Volunteers for these are always appreciated, especially on the second days. It is also good chance to learn about the river (re: new access points) and give a little back to a resource you might be using.
